Testing and Packaging at Rexinwala

At Rexinwala, we understand that high-quality packaging and thorough testing are essential to ensuring that our synthetic leather products meet and exceed customer expectations. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our comprehensive packaging and testing processes, designed to maintain the integrity and quality of our products from production to delivery.

Our packaging process is meticulously designed to protect our synthetic leather products during storage and transportation. We use high-quality materials and follow strict protocols to ensure that each product reaches our customers in pristine condition.

Testing Process

Quality testing is a critical component of our production process at Rexinwala. We employ rigorous testing methods to ensure that our synthetic leather products meet the highest standards of quality, durability, and performance. Our testing process includes multiple levels of quality checks:

01

Appearance Inspection

  • Process: Each roll is inspected on a cloth-inspection table to ensure the appearance meets our quality criteria.
  • Measurements: The length and width of each roll are measured to confirm consistency and accuracy
02

Testing of Physical-Mechanical Parameters

  • Sample Selection: A 1-meter section without defects is selected from each roll.
  • Conditioning: Samples are conditioned in a controlled environment (65 ± 5% humidity, 20 ± 2°C) for at least 24 hours before testing.

Determination of Mass and Thickness

  • Sample Preparation: Three samples, each 100±1 x 100±1 mm, are cut from different parts of the roll.
  • Measurement: Thickness is measured using a precise thickness gauge to ensure uniformity
04

Breaking Load and Extensibility at Break

  • Sample Preparation: Three samples, each 50±1 x 200±1 mm, are cut in both longitudinal and transverse directions.
  • Testing: Samples are tested on a tensile machine to measure the breaking load and extensibility, with load and elongation recorded at rupture.

Bonding Strength of the Film Coating and Backing

  • Sample Preparation: Three samples, each 150±2 mm in length, are cut longitudinally and segmented into three sections.
  • Testing: The coating is manually separated from the backing, and samples are fixed in a breaking machine to measure bonding strength during stratification.
06

Stiffness Testing

  • Sample Preparation: Three samples, each 95±1 x 20±1 mm, are cut in the longitudinal direction.
  • Testing: Samples are tested to determine stiffness, ensuring the material meets flexibility requirements

Resistance to Dry and Wet Friction

  • Sample Preparation: Two samples, each 180 x 80 mm, are cut in both longitudinal and transverse directions.
  • Dry Friction Testing: Samples are tested with a smooth fabric surface to evaluate resistance to dry friction. • Wet Friction Testing: For wet friction, the adjacent fabric is soaked in distilled water and tested similarly, ensuring durability in various conditions.
08

Multiple Flexing Resistance

  • Sample Preparation: Samples are cut into a rhombus shape and tested for resistance to destruction during flexing.
  • Criteria: Material passes if no micro cracks, flaking, swelling, or complete fractures occur
